Add Equipment to the Plant Location Tree
After you have completed building your Plant Location Tree, you can begin the last step of adding equipment to the PLT.
To add an Equipment ID to the Plant Location Tree follow these steps:
1. Click
Select your Equipment ID from the search grid
2. Click the Plant Location Tree Icon next to Plant Description
The PLT Popup will appear
3. Find the Location for the Equipment ID (Click on the Plus sign open the lower levels of the PLT)
4. Click Select
You will returned to the Equipment Detail Page and the Plant Description will appear the field.
Verify Location within the PLT
To verify the Equipment is in the correct location you can review the PLT on the Equipment Search page.
1. On the Equipment Search page, Click Options
2. Click Plant Location Lookup Tree
The Plant Location Equipment Tree Lookup pop-up will appear.
3. To view the Equipment Detail, Click Select
4. Click Cancel to close the Plant Location Equipment Tree Lookup pop-up
