Plant Setup
Adding Areas, Departments and Lines is step one in the process the build your Plant Location Tree. Think of these three sections as levels that can be used to track costs with the lower levels feeding to the upper levels.
To add a new value for an Area, Department or Line follow these steps:
1. Click| Plant | Plant Setup
2. Click New
3. Enter the Value
4. Click Update
Your new Area, Department or Line has been added to the system.
Below is an example of a Plant Location Tree where the top level is the Area with Department subordinate to Area and Line subordinate to Department.
