Mobile Adding Sanitation Request or Sanitation Job

Perform the following steps to add a Sanitation Request or Sanitation Job from the SOMAX Mobile Application


  1.  From the Sanitation Completion Workbench list view screen the following Add functions are available
  2.  TapTap on the desired selection
    • Add Sanitation Request - Sanitation Work requiring approval, scheduling or follow up at a later date 
    • Add Sanitation Job - Sanitation Work that is approved but requires management follow up and scheduling at a later date

  3. Tap Tap Camera 
  4.  Using the mobile device camera take a picture of the work to be performed.
  5.  Tap Description field using the keypad describe the work to be performed
  6.  Select the Charge To either by scanning a Q/R code or TapCharge To | Look up          
    • Note: Once the correct Charge to is located, Tap the box to the right of the selection Tap  Apply
  7.  Tap Add  
  8.  SOMAX adds the Sanitation Request or Sanitation Job and displays a message: 
    •  "Sanitation Request or Sanitation Job XXXXXXXX successfully added"
  9. Tap OK
    • Sanitation Request will not be visible on the mobile device until they have been approved, scheduled and assigned
    • Sanitation Jobs will not be visible on the mobile device until they have been scheduled and assigned
