Completing Work Orders with the Completion Workbench

The Completion Workbench has four Tabs to enter different information into the Work Order:  Work Order, Tasks, Labor, and Parts

Perform the following steps to complete a Work Order using the Completion Workbench


Work Order Tab

The user can add Failure Code, Labor Hours and Completion Comments on the Work Order Tab


    1.  Click| Work Order | Completion Workbench

         The Completion Workbench will open to the default screen showing WO's that are Assigned to Me and Scheduled for Today

    2.  Click on the Work Order ID

         This opens the Work Order Completion Confirmation screen 

    3.  Enter the Actual Duration

    4.  Select a Failure Code

    5.  Click Complete

         Food Service Clients only: The system will prompt the user with the Food Safety Message, the User must Click on

         Yes to continue, clicking No will stop the process


Tasks Tab

The user can complete or cancel tasks on the Tasks Tab


To complete a task on a Work Order

    1.  Click on the Tasks Tab

    2.  Checknext to the tasks

    3.  Click Complete

         The Complete Task Pop-up will appear

    4.  Click OK

         The status of the task is now Complete


To cancel a task on a Work Order

    1.  Click on the Tasks Tab

    2.  Checknext to the tasks

    3.  Click Cancel

         The Complete Task Pop-up will appear

    4.  Select a Reason from the dropdown menu

    5.  Click OK

         The Cancel Task Completed Pop-up will appear

    6.  Click OK

         The status of the task is now Canceled


If you cancel Tasks, uncheck Complete All Tasks on the Work Order Tab before adding duration and completing the Work Order


Labor Tab

The user can add labor for another mechanic or technician that helped complete the Work Order

   

To add another Mechanics Labor to a Work Order:

    1.  Click on the Labor Tab

    2.  Click Add 

         The Add a New Time Card window will appear

    3.  Select a Mechanic from the Personnel ID dropdown list

    4.  Select the Date using the

    5.  Enter the number of hours for the Mechanic

    6.  Click Add


Parts Tab

The user can issue Parts to a Work Order on the Parts Tab.  If the Part was not used during the repair, it can returned from the Parts Tab

   

To issue Parts to a Work Order:

    1.  Click on the Parts Tab.

    2.  Either type in the Part ID or Click on the to search for the part

    3.  Click Add to add the Part to the Work Order

    4.  Click in the Quantity field to issue more than one part

    5.  Click Process to remove the Part from inventory and Issue to the Work Order

         The system will display the message:  Work Order Issue process completed successfully


To return a Part to Inventory

    1.  Checknext to the Part to return

    2.  Click Return

         The system will display the part with a negative amount to show the part has been returned to inventory
